Junior High “Getaway” 2026

Madison Church is organizing a Center Youth Group trip to a conference at Ozark Christian College in Joplin, Missouri, for Junior High students called “Getaway.”

This is an overnight conference for 7th & 8th graders centered around worship and the Bible. We’ll take a 15-passenger van down and sleep overnight in a Church near the conference (on the floor, pews, chairs, or whatever else we can find!). You can find more trip details at the participants page:

In order to attend, a parent must complete ALL THREE steps.

  1. Fill out the short form below to reserve a spot (registration closes after the first 12 students)

  2. Follow the link called “Ozark Registration” below and complete the online form required by Ozark Christian College

    1. Please enter “Madison Church of Christ” in the box for “What church are you attending Getaway with?”

  3. Print and fill out the Madison Church release form attached below, and pay $75 to “Madison Church of Christ” before we leave (these can be turned in when we depart on Friday)

 

Details

  • Cost to attend is $75

  • We’ll depart from the school parking lot (gravel) at 10:30 AM (September 25th)

  • We’ll return to the school parking lot at approximately 9:00PM Saturday (Sept. 26th)

  • Students will be responsible for purchasing two meals on the trip (supper on the 25th and 26th)

    • We’ll have multiple fast-food options each time we stop

  • Students should pack light - showers will not be available where we stay.

  • Joel and Markie Nielsen will be the sponsors for the trip
