Rooted Fellowship Groups
We’re Launching Rooted Fellowship Groups in January of 2026!
“Rooted” is a 10-week devotional and small group program. Participants will be given a devotional workbook (provided by the Church) containing five 20-minute devotions for each of the 10 weeks, and will participate in a weekly fellowship group discussion, as well as two experience nights (one for prayer and one for service).
Rooted is not a traditional “Bible study” but rather a fellowship experience. The “Bible study” will come in your personal daily devotions. Then the group discussion time will be dedicated to your response and reaction to these passages instead of “learning about them.” There are no tests of Bible knowledge or even reading out loud. The focus of these group times is on fellowship and openly discussing how to follow Jesus in our lives. This means that Rooted is for ALL people, regardless of how much you have read the Bible or where you are in your spiritual journey.
Expectations
If you participate in rooted, this is what will be expected of you:
Complete the 5 daily devotionals in your workbook each week (~20 minutes per day).
Attend your weekly Rooted Group meeting as well as 1 prayer experience and 1 service experience.
Please do everything you can to avoid missing more than 2 of these in total.
Schedule
Rooted will begin on January 11th with a large-group worship and kickoff experience. That night, we’ll separate into groups and have our first group discussion. Your group will meet 11 more times over the next 10 weeks, and you’ll have your last group meeting sometime between March 15th and 21st. We’ll gather for a celebratory fellowship dinner on the evening of March 22
We’ll have several different groups meeting on different days and times throughout the week. That schedule will be published by December 21st.
Please fill out the “Rooted Availability” Form here to help us select ideal group meeting times
Frequently Asked Questions
Where Will The Rooted Groups Meet?
Rooted groups will meet at the Church or at another public place, as arranged by the group leader (like a coffee shop or restaurant). But the Church building will be the assumed meeting place for all groups.
Will There Be Child Care Provided?
We will try to provide child care during certain Rooted groups based on the need expressed in the Rooted Availability Form. We expect to offer child care for two of the weekly meeting times
Can I Join a Different Groups Weekly Meeting if I’m Busy the Night of My Own
No. Rooted groups are designed to host intentional and personal discussion times that are not conducive to one-time visitors. If you can’t make your own rooted groups meeting time, just miss that week, and you can ask the group leader to catch you up on what you missed if you like.
